The West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce and the City of West Monroe invite you to help take West Monroe to the Next Level!
Program Annoucement:
Take West Monroe to the Next Level
In January 2021, the City of West Monroe and the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce joined together to launch a community pride campaign known as “Take West Monroe to the Next Level.”
“Take West Monroe to the Next Level” is a community campaign to encourage business owners, residents, nonprofit organizations and others to take greater pride in West Monroe, particularly in the community’s appearance.
West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell describes the campaign as meaning more than just picking up litter. The campaign, she said, encourages people to look at all aspects of our community and to take greater pride in our homes, storefronts, neighborhoods, waterways, public places, etc. The campaign also encourages people to become actively involved in their community by volunteering and becoming more aware of the things that are happening in West Monroe.
As the City of West Monroe goes through a citywide master planning process in 2021, this is the perfect time for residents and business leaders to come together to Take West Monroe to the Next Level.
“You have the City of West Monroe’s commitment and my commitment to continue working for the future of West Monroe and our entire community,” said Mayor Mitchell. “We realize there are things that need correcting and things that need to be worked on by City staff. However, the City cannot do it alone. It takes all of us.”
