The City of West Monroe requires businesses operating within the corporate city limits to have an Occupational Business License. Fees are based on the type of business. The City of West Monroe also issues special event, liquor and peddler's permits.
Sales Tax
West Monroe sales taxes are collected by the City of Monroe but the registration application for a sales tax number is accepted. D.B.A.s are filled with Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court located at the Ouachita Parish Court House.
