About the Program

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM PROCESS

The Mentorship Program is a 6-Month Commitment for interested students to work with a skilled business professional who serves as a Mentor.

  • Our goal is to educate our youth - while they are still in the preliminary stages of trying to figure out what they want to do with their life and help influence and hone their natural skills and develop soft skills for success. Soft skills development focuses on enhancing personal attributes and interpersonal abilities, such as communication, emotional intelligence, and teamwork. It involves improving interactions with others, how to solve problems, and adapt to change, often through practice, feedback, and learning from experiences.
  • Create opportunities for our high school students to connect with selected businesses /industry leaders who can help enhance critical skills. To help them confidently pursue appropriate career paths, or educational goals, to prosper and raise their families here.
  • Provide job shadowing opportunities and connect students to the educational paths needed to secure their goals.
