David Cole has been an instrumental leader for the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, where he is wrapping up his dedicated service as Immediate Past Chairman. Throughout his time on the board, David has significantly expanded the Chamber's programs and initiatives, demonstrating a passion for community growth and mentorship. Among his contributions, David led the Chamber through the launch of a youth mentoring program, providing young individuals with valuable guidance and support. His commitment to the Chamber’s vision has left a lasting mark, fostering new opportunities and reinforcing a vibrant future for West Monroe and West Ouachita.

Professionally, David serves as Senior Vice President and West Monroe-West Ouachita Market President for Progressive Bank. With a solid foundation in finance, David earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University in 2002, and he recently completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU in May 2024, equipping him with the expertise to further drive economic and community-focused initiatives. His dedication to continuous learning and development reflects his forward-thinking approach to leadership.

David’s commitment to service extends far beyond the Chamber. He is active in numerous local organizations, including West Monroe Alumni and Friends and the United Way, where he is set to serve as the 2025 Campaign Chair. He also brings his insights to the Glenwood Medical Center Board of Trustees, helping support critical healthcare needs in the community. Additionally, David is a volunteer reader with the Read.Learn.Succeed program, exemplifying his dedication to literacy and education for the youth of the area.

At home, David enjoys the love and support of his wife, Brandi, and their two children, Annie (13) and Cooper (10). Family is central to David’s life, and in his spare time, he can often be found golfing, coaching his son’s sports teams, or sharing memorable moments with his daughter, Annie, as he occasionally joins her in performances with the Twin City Ballet. David’s well-rounded life, marked by family, professional excellence, and community service, makes him a valued and cherished member of West Monroe and West Ouachita.

David’s contributions have left a legacy of growth, collaboration, and opportunity, and we are immensely grateful for his years of service and leadership on the board!
